Background
In 2003, we met with Transport for London (TFL) - which oversees advertising on London buses, tube and taxis. We asked why the transport network harboured so many sexist adverts.
Since then
TFL has dramatically altered its guidelines as to what material
is appropriate. The codes are now excellent, although sadly
not always implemented.
It is worth
complaining to Transport for London (TFL). Unlike any other
regulator, complaints are often listened to.
