A legal loophole means Lap Dancing Clubs are licensed like Cafes. However they, like peep shows, fulfill the legal definition of a Sex Encounter Establishment.

Object calls for closure of this loophole and for lap dancing to be licensed, regulated and recognised for what it is.

This would have major ramifications for the ability of local people to have a say in licensing, the regulation of premises, the effect on the vicinity and on wider gender equality.
